Mahashivaratri is a Hindu fest
which falls on sixth night of dark falgun
every year. This fest is observed or celebrated in reverence of lord
Shiva and Shakti, the day when lord Shiva married with goddess parvati so, this
named as The great night of Lord shiva. Devotees on this days observes fasts
and celebrated by offers fruits and flowers, mostly of”Bael” leaves with chant of ‘ Om Namh Shivay ‘ and
‘Mahamartunjaya Mantra ‘,this night marks of lord shiva’s dance “Tandav”.its
annual fest celebrated as divine marriage of Shiva and Shakti .
