Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam : Missile Man Of India
Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam (15 October 1931 - 27 July 2015) was an Indian scientist and politician who served as the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007, he also served as scientist in Defense Research and Development organisation (DRDO) approx 4 decades long. He was also known by name of Missile man of India, due to his development in field of ballistic missiles and launch technology .He was born and raised in Rameshwaram, Tamilnadu. He studied physics and aerospace engineering.He plays pivotal role in Pokharan Nuclear test. he was elected president of India in 2002 by support of both ruling party, Bhartiya Janta Party and Indian National Congress.
After serving terms of Five years he returned to civilian life of education and writing.He has received several prestigious awards including "BHARAT RATNA" highest civilian award of India, Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan and many more.He was true patriot, and rare combination of Science , Education , and Morality.
